Hello, My name is Michelle Tran. I am bilingual, I speak English and Vietnamese. I have two boys, a 2 year old and 7 month old. I am 25 years old, graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I've also had a few years of experience working with children. In High School, I completed my pathway to Early Childhood Education. It was a 3-year Career Technology, and Agriculture Education (CTAE) class that provided knowledge about children. The classroom was set up as a preschool for the children. I created daily lesson plans and decorated the classroom with different themes each month. I was also a student teacher at an Elementary school. I shadowed the teacher, observed her ways of teaching. I was assigned to play learning games with different groups of children and to help any child that needed assistance on their assignments. As Read more a mentor, I had one-on-one interaction with a child chosen by the counselor. The morning routine consisted of helping them with their daily assignments and playing a board game of their choice. I also had a babysitting job through SitterCity for 10 months. I watched over a 7 and 12 year old. My responsibilities were to help with their homework, transportation to extracurriculars, and prepping light meals. I also worked at a Childtime Daycare of Kennesaw. I worked with various ages between 1-11. I had a max of 18 children in my classroom. My daily schedule consist of feeding them breakfast, having large and small group lesson plans, let them play in learning centers, outside time twice a day, feed them lunch and snack, and have nap time for about 1-2 hours. I also cleaned up my classroom after each work period. I have six certifications from Pro Solutions Training. I love working with kids, it's very rewarding to see them grow successfully.
