Hi! My name is Kimora, but you can call me Kimmy. I’m an 18-year-old African American woman and a freshman at Spelman College, right in the heart of Atlanta near the West End. I’m majoring in Chemistry on a pre-med track, with plans to become a trauma surgeon and attend medical school after college. Even though I’m passionate about medicine, my heart has always been in child care. I once dreamed of becoming a teacher, and I still carry that love for educating, connecting with, and nurturing children—babysitting gives me the perfect opportunity to do just that. I’m CPR, AED, and EMS certified. I have experience with diaper changes, sleep strategies, light housekeeping, and meal prep. I’m also very creative and active—arts and crafts, painting, crocheting—you name it! I love making sure kids are engaged and never bored, whether through learning or play. I’m currently in school Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, but I’m available most evenings and fully open on Fridays through Sundays. While I don’t have a car, I always show up on time, bring great energy, and create a positive, reliable presence in the home. I’m looking for a long-term position where I can really grow with a family over time.
