I am an empty-nester and mother of 3 adult children whom I raised to emotionally regulate themselves and to make healthy and positive choices. I have worked as a substitute teacher and a paraprofessional in the school district for elementary through middle school. I have also worked as a case manager for children pre-K through high school, during which time I managed children with mental health and other behavioral issues. I taught Sunday School, and served as co-director for my church's children program including Kid's Night out on Wednesdays. I have baby-sat for my family and friends over the years and my home has always been a safe haven for my children's friends. I teach my children the importance of being able to control their emotions, make positive choices, and use their problem solving skills. I am also First Aid/CPR certified.
