I began working with children when I was in college and quickly discovered how much I loved their energy. I have a degree in Theater which led to working in children's theater and teaching at art and culture camps. I joined a national nanny agency which had allowed me to work for families in Atlanta and New York. I have experience with infants all the way up to college age young adults. I am also a lover of the outdoors and like to keep the kids and myself active. I have also taught at a cooking school for kids and love showing kids the importance of heathy eating and the advantages of being able to cook for yourself and your family. My disciplinary style includes setting boundaries and sticking to them. I believe that structure is an important part of child development and crucial that they learn it from a Read more young age. Respect for authority while knowing they have a voice and can use it in a respectful manor is a theory I practice when working with children.
