Hi! I am Shantoria😁 I am an upbeat, optimistic 24 year old. I have always had a heart for caring for others I get it from my grandmother who took care of multiple children while I grew up, I learned to babysit from helping her which led to the summer before my freshman year in high school when I became the neighborhood babysitter which lasted 2 years because I became a waitress. Amazing thing is I still keep in contact with them! My heart also comes from mom who is a CNA, she inspired me to become one also so I took the courses in high school and have been doing it since my graduation in 2012. I loved working in the hospital, but mostly the local nursing home until I decided I wanted to get back into to pediatrics which I am trying to get a degree in. Two Read more years ago my nephew was born a NICU baby of just a little over 3lbs who I am helping to raise he is such a joy and quite the curious character now. Children of all ages bring a joy to my life the smile of an infant, the curious crawler, interestingtoddler, and of course the uniqueness of the preschooler to elms! The secret to babysitting is stepping into their world and helping create an adventure out of an ordinary day through books and crafts, or ice cream adventures in the park to something as simple as finding them their favorite show.
