My name is Montoya and I am currently employed as a Lead Teacher at a lab-based child development center in Lawrenceville, GA. I graduated with a B.S. in Child Development from Mississippi State University in August 2011 and graduated from Mississippi State University with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Community College Education and Leadership, in May 2013. During my college and career experience, I was a supervised observational student at a Child Development Center for two years, and held employment with a Head Start agency (2 years) and at a Preschool (summer employments), which has given me experiences with young children and interactions with their parents. Throughout all of my experiences, I have interacted with students of all academic levels and diversity groups; in addition, being involved with the students and their families have been a priority. I also worked as a Tutor at a Middle School, Read more where I assisted 7th and 8th graders with their educational needs for two years. In addition, during my graduate career, I completed an internship at a MS Community College, where I gained experience in online teaching and teaching in a classroom with a multicultural and diverse setting. I currently have the following updated training: CPR, First Aid, Child abuse & neglect, and Fire Safety. I'm looking for weekend babysitting opportunities or weekday evenings opportunities.
