Hi! My name is Shirley, and I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I bring a strong foundation in child development, safety, and compassionate care to every family I work with. I have extensive hands-on experience working with children of all ages—including infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and teens—particularly those with special needs such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, autism, and ADHD. I’m skilled in supporting their daily routines, engaging them in creative and developmentally appropriate play, and assisting with activities like feeding, dressing, mobility, and even medication administration when needed. I truly enjoy building meaningful connections with each child, fostering a safe and inclusive environment where they feel supported, empowered, and understood. Outside of my studies and clinical work, I love rollerblading, cooking, and exploring local parks. I would be honored to work with your family and provide care that is Read more reliable, compassionate, and rooted in professional training.

Shirley was very helpful, very nice with my son who is Autistic. Shirley came on time so my husband and I could go to our event. My kids loves her and we will definitely use her services next time. I will recommend her service.

Shirley is the absolute best babysitter we have ever used for our daughter! She is incredibly professional, punctual, and personable. Shirley helped us out for two and a half weeks while my husband was out of town for work, and she went above and beyond in every way. She showed up to my house early every single day (and I had requested a very early start time of 6 am!), got my daughter awake, dressed, fed and out the door to school while I could head to work (which started at 7 am). She has incredible attention to detail, remembering all of my daughter’s preferences. She tidied and cleaned my daughter’s room, washed dishes, did laundry, snuggled our pets, and generally made those three weeks of solo parenting so much easier and less stressful. I am so sad I can’t have her permanently as our babysitter because she truly has become part of our family. I will never stop singing her praises!
