Hi! I relocated from Japan to the US 9 months ago due to my husband's work transfer and have been a stay at home mum with a middle schooler since. (also two cats we moved together with from all the way from Japan.) I am a self-motivated, energetic and dependable sitter with a year of teaching aide experience in Japan and 4months of working as a caregiver for a teenage boy with autism in the US. The year 2021-2022 was when I worked at a public school in Japan, where I helped facilitate communication, adaptation to life and learning, and emotional stability of returnee students from overseas. Two of them were with special needs. This gave me a chance to study and learn about autism and dyslexia to best support them and I keep learning. I am currently taking a course for RBT certificate to work better especially with children Read more with autism. I would like to talk with you to learn about your child's personal/behavioral traits, as well as I myself observe and evaluate their likes/interests/needs to respond accordingly and to offer a safe and fun environment while I take cere of them.
