Meet Kayla

I have over 3 years of hands-on experience working in childcare, including time as a lead teacher in a Montessori environment. My Montessori training has given me a deep understanding of child development and the importance of fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners. I have worked with children ranging from toddlers to early elementary ages and I am comfortable creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage both learning and fun. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and positive space where children feel valued and supported. I believe in following each child’s individual interests while also introducing new experiences that help them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Whether it is planning sensory play, guiding art projects, reading stories, or supporting outdoor exploration, I strive to make every moment meaningful. In addition to providing attentive care, I am also happy to assist with light housekeeping related to the children, meal preparation, and maintaining a tidy and organized play environment. Caring for children is something I genuinely love. My goal is always to create an environment where children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn while parents have peace of mind knowing their child is in capable and caring hands.
