My name is Mia, and I have been nannying/ babysitting for almost 7 years now. I graduated from Georgia State in May, and am finishing up a brief online course throughout December. My area of study is early to middle level childhood education, with a focus in science and a minor focus in math. I am unabashedly a dork. I also love history and am constantly editing/ condensing/ proofreading any and all wirting pieces that cross my laptop! As far as my background, I did gymnastics all throughout childhood up until senior year of High School, and only stopped due to injury! I helped coach kids until college when I got my first coaching job, which is also where I got my CPR certification; ultimately, helping me find my passion for helping children and teaching. I then found work at a primary Care office during my Junior year of college, Read more and am vaccinated as a result. I worked hands on with 6th grade students during the last school year and am currently renewing some of the Georgia Standards Certifications in safety, behavioral, etc. I was homeschooled growing up and an only child, so I naturally love being around large numbers of kiddos and being a part of their ruckus, since It was a one man show growing up! I am ideally looking to find PT- FT work as a nanny/ house manager until I have taken my GACE exams to gain my teaching certifications.
