Meet Alia

I love being sitter because I enjoy spending time with children and helping them feel safe, supported, and entertained. I like creating fun activities, playing games, and helping kids stay engaged instead of just sitting on devices. Seeing kids laugh, learn new things, and feel comfortable around me is really rewarding. I also enjoy helping parents by giving them peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands. I worked as a summer camp counselor where I supervised groups of children ages 6-10, and sometimes up to 11. My responsibilities included making sure the kids were safe, helping organize and lead indoor and outdoor games, handing out snacks if they didn’t bring their own, and keeping the children engaged in fun activities throughout the day. I also worked with other counselors as a team to make sure all of the kids were supervised and having a positive experience. My experience as a camp counselor helped me develop skills in supervising groups of kids, keeping them engaged in activities, and handling different personalities calmly and respectfully. I’m responsible, attentive, and always focused on making sure children are safe while also having fun. I’m also very willing to learn new skills and follow parents’ routines or instructions carefully.
