I have always adored working with children. When I was 15 I began babysitting a 2 month old baby girl and baby sat her until she was 3. Throughout that time I also too CPR and first aid classes when I was 17(which i need to renew now). Also babysat other children at random times for family and friends. When I turned 18 I began working at Monkey Joes children's play place, which I loved. Before that, I also helped at a local daycare as a volunteer for a family friend. My senior year of highschool I had dreams of becoming a pediatrician. I job shadowed and volunteered at many hospitals, nursing homes, adult day cares, and elementary schools. After this, my dreams changed. I still wanted to work with children but instead of being a pediatrician I decided y heart desires to one day own a daycare( like my Read more family friend). I left monkey joes for college and am now attending to recieve my business degree as the beginning of somebody owning my own daycare. I have 5 years experience with children ranging the ages of 2 months to 13 years and I love them all. I have morals and I have always been extremely patient. I have worked with one special needs child for a year now and still am today. Working with children is what truely makes me happy and that's what makes me great at my job. I also adore animals and even thought of becoming a veterinarian at one time. I've worked with elderly as well. This isn't just some job that I do to make money and dread doing everyday, this is what I love to do and what makes me happy.
