I have been in childcare informally since the age of 12. I love to teach and see a child learn. My experience lies with children under the age of 12. I have in total 10 years experience. This lady completely wasted my time, because she misrepresented herself. First of all, she changed venues at the last minute - which is extremely hard to do with two toddlers. I rush there - only for her to be 20 minutes late!! The plan was for her to come to my house and then (if everything worked out, she would keep my kids immediately afterwards). Unfortunately, she had other plans. She is recruiting for her home daycare! Now, somebody please tell me WHY would I be on sittercity looking for a daycare?!?. I'm not. The job posted CLEARLY asked for a nanny to come to our house. This could have been avoided by telling me up front what her intentions were.
