My first child care experience was with the YMCA where I spent a year working their after school program at Florida City Elementary. Through this experience I became CPR and First Aide certified and completed a mandatory 45-hour child care training session with the department of children and families. My second experience was working as a teachers aide for palmetto elementary, which required additional training and testing through Miami- Dade County public schools. I worked in an integrated Pre-Kindergarten class working closely with students on the autism spectrum. I mainly facilitated actives such as reading, morning dancing and stretching, lunch time, "free play"activities, outdoor time and gardening. I spent a year at Palmetto Elementary, and went on to pursue a degree in paralegal studies.
