I am a local counselor and part time teacher looking to do a bit of babysitting while my new practice takes off. I hold a graduate degree in clinical counseling from Adler Graduate School as well as a bachelor's degree in both psychology and marketing from Winona State University. I have been a nanny for several years, worked in a childcare setting, and have been a camp counselor. I am a certified assistant child care teacher and have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers as well as older children. I am energetic and active and love to learn new things. As a childcare provider I excel at engagement, creating activities, catching them being good, and positive encouragement. I am an animal lover and would love to care for your fur babies as well. My typical rate is $15 per hour for up to three children in Kona, $20 Read more per hour for up to three children outside of Kona, and $5 per additional child per hour. Kayla has been a wonderful sitter for us. Extremely adaptable and flexible, very energetic. The twins love her - and especially my high maintenance daughter! One of the many times she has babysat for us - we hired her when my friend was getting married and we needed to go early in the day - she got the babies up from their naps, got them dressed up, drove our van down to the reception in downtown Minneapolis (winter time using GPS) and met us there. She's done a great job and we continue to use her almost every week.
