I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to California for college 3 years ago. I am a junior at UCSB and plan on becoming a kindergarten teacher. I was raised with two younger siblings, my sister is 4 years younger and my brother is 11 years younger. Because I was 11 when my brother was born my mom often left me in charge of him. When I was 12 she started paying me $10.00 an hour to watch him from 2pm-6pm. I also babysat many children in my neighborhood, ranging from 4 months to 9 years old.
