Hello! I’m Alexa, and I’m excited to introduce myself to you! I have extensively babysat for neighbors, family friends, and relatives for over 4 years. I also had the privilege of regularly caring for two young neighbors from the time they were around 1 and 3 years old up until they were about 6 and 9 years old. Through this I have gained valuable experience working with children of many different ages including infants, toddlers and school age children (from 3months up to 10/11yo). My responsibilities have included: - feeding (bottles, solid foods, snack, and meals) - diaper changing (gently and safely changing when needed) - meal prepping (preparing food and meals upon request or by schedule) - bathing (bath time, cleaning, laundry, water safety, play, changing clothes, and drying off) - bedtime (brushing teeth, combing hair, changing into pajamas, reading books, tv time - within parents parameters, tucking in, Read more ensuring they are safe and comfortable, forming a routine) - help with potty training (learning to use the toilet, removing proper garments, wiping, washing hands, cleaning up) - creating new experiences (creating games with the children, encouraging imagination, making adventures) - outdoor activities and fun for all ( bike riding and/or scootering - if comfortable for parent and child, going to parks, walking around the neighborhood - if safe, playing outside, parent approved outings for activities such as swimming, sports, or other events) I am creative, intuitive, responsible, and passionate about children’s health and learning. I also have good experience caring for pets (cats, dogs, rabbits) and taking care of the house (cleaning, tidying, laundry, organizing, doing the dishes etc.). I grew up with cats and later rabbits and currently live with my own cat and dog. I have also cared for others pets on many occasions including dogs, cats, flightless birds, and rabbits so I have good knowledge in pet care. I hope to help as much as possible! I look forward to getting to know your family and providing the most beneficial care I can. I have a valid drivers license with zero infractions. I’m also happy to provide references upon request.
