Hi! My name is Amelia and I am 28 years old and new to Kihei. During my day job, I work as an independent contractor on public health (mainly nutrition) international development projects, primarily implemented in Sub Saharan Africa. I have always loved looking after children. I love the joy and curiosity they bring to the everyday. I have been surrounded by kids my whole life — I have three young cousins (who are all grown up teens now!) and three young nieces (the youngest of which was born in June!); I have been in an “aunty” role since I was 8 years old! I have spent summers nannying both family members and for clients, and have experience as an after school camp and YMCA day camp counselor. I am happy to (and enjoy) pick up spaces, cook, and kind take on a more well rounded support role in the household.
