Hi! My name is Holly Jackson, but everyone has called me by my middle name, Amanda, since I was a child. I'm from Texas, but have been in Hawaii since 2015. I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. I started babysitting for neighbors and family friends at age 12 and continued through undergrad at Rice, working as a preschool teacher to help with tuition. I also worked for several years as a substitute teacher for K through 12, so I've had experience with all ages. I have a 15 year old as well as 5 stepkids, who have had a big place in my heart since they were little. I'm an aunt to 6 back in Texas who I miss like crazy. I really love kids! They keep me laughing, and I really enjoy playing games, doing crafts, and talking with them. I also love to Read more read to and cook healthy snacks/meals for them. Outdoor adventures are another great activity with children, always being diligent about safety, of course. I have experience as a tutor, so can happily help with pretty much any homework subject.
