Hello! Thanks for considering me as a care provider for your family. I'm excited for the opportunity! I am a native central Iowan, and currently live in Ankeny. I have a Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit & Youth Administration (showing I've always loved working with kiddos!), and a Master's degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs (showing I love development at all ages!), both of which I earned at UNI. I currently work at Iowa State University in diversity and inclusion, and value the unique differences of each individual and family I meet, and can ensure you that those identities will be supported and cared for should you entrust your children in my care. I have extensive background in childcare, beginning informally as a teenager when I would care for my siblings and family friends. That passion turned into real work as I ended high school and entered college, as I worked for Read more an established childcare facility in Johnston for three years. My experience spans ages and abilities, having worked with newborn-teenagers, and with areas such as feeding, potty training, nap time, developmental learning, and general oversight. I've been active on these types of sites for years now, and have established relationships with families that have grown very close! My goal is to be able to assist families on an as-needed basis so that parents can enjoy their own lives while ensuring their children are safe! Some of my hobbies include spending time outside, grabbing a good book, and completing various home projects. So, if your kiddos enjoy reading, doing crafts and being active, I'm their gal!
