Before I moved to ankeny, I babysat/nannied for many families outside of my own family. My mom had a home daycare when I was young which helped me develop a strong likening for babysitting on my own time. I have taken care of children from 1 month- 13 years of age out of my experienced years and often watched them overnight. I have drove children to and from school, taken them to any sporting events, for outings on special occasions, to grocery stores and have a tendency to spoil the ones I watch. I currently work as a full-time lead resident assistant at a local retirement living and will soon be taking a step back to focus on the things that I love. I work countless days from 5:45- 2pm and often pick up an extra shift on short notice. I have taken a semester off college to build up Read more more funds and plan to reattend in January. I have recently made a purchase of a new reliable car that gets me where I need to be. I am CPR and First Aid certified due to the job I have now. I have good time management, can cook and love to keep things nice and clean. I currently watch an infant boy since he was a month old, he is has recently turned a year old with in past few months. I have watched him through out the day, overnight and for the weekend when needed. Due to a loss of a sibling and other life events, August is a month that I rarely look forward to. I plan to make a change and surround my life with doing things I love.
