I am the oldest of three children, my siblings are 6 and 9 years younger than me, and as a result have spent a lot of time with children. I babysat for families in the community growing up. When I was in college I babysat often for a few families in town, one family with 5 children, and loved it. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and family studies, and am currently working as a family support worker in the crisis child care and crisis intervention programs at Child Abuse Prevention Services in Marshalltown. I am CPR/First Aid certified and am also a mandatory reporter.
