Hello, My name is Michael. I am a 23-year-old, former service member, college student, currently working as an intern for a home improvement company and a crew member at McDonald's. I am looking for some extra work on the weekends that could help me pay some bills and get on my feet as I start my new life in Oregon as a civilian. I have no experience in paid childcare, but I have 7+ years of experience working with kids by helping in different classrooms and nurseries at my churches over the years. I have worked with all ages from 2-year-olds in church nursery, kids ages 3-12 in VBS, AWANA's, or helping my mom with childcare for international children while their parents were learning English (when I was 10). And I have helped lead youth groups for 4 years as a high school you leader working with military kids in Read more Okinawa, Japan. I consider myself great around kids and enjoy making them laugh and helping them learn new things. I would love the opportunity to work 1-on-1 with kids as a babysitter and gain some experience as a paid childcare worker, while also being able to earn an income to support myself.
