Hello everyone! I will first start by introducing a little bit about me. My name is Katie, I am 24 years old and presently attending NICC for online courses. I am taking transfer courses to eventually transfer to a four year college for my English degree. My goal in life is to be a writer, and an inspiration to many, including my daughter. I do have a daughter, she has been a blessing to me, and would need to be accommodated for babysitting/nannying as well meaning she would have to be with me. She is almost 6 months old and extremely smart and well behaved, I strive to be the best mother to her, and strive to be the best person and "teacher" to others as well, especially children. I believe they are the future. Therefore I strive to go above and beyond to be the best teacher/babysitter/nanny I can Read more be to each child as an individual. I strive to promote growth with each child. I build a bond with them, and learn their needs and I do my best to incorporate activities around their individual needs. I strive to encourage creativity, as well as education. I love to read to the children, and do art activities with them as well. I love the outdoors and incorporate that into the care I provide for the children as well. I strive to grow a personal relationship and bond with the parents and family as well. For I believe if one is caring for a child they have to have a good, positive bond with the parents as well. I am a very positive person overall. I am highly creative, and see the world from a beautiful spectrum that many fail to. I desire to provide Quality Care Childcare at all times. What sets me apart from others is that I go above and beyond to meet and exceed each parents, and child's needs, educational, mentally, and physically. I interact with the children, as well as teach by leading by positive example, and making it fun still. I do not believe in relying on technology, and placing a child in front of a TV or Ipad for hours. I am old fashioned. Meaning I would rather do outside time, color, use the imagination, do arts and crafts, read, and simply play and interact with each child compared to the ultimatum. I know that is what I would want for my daughter and I would not do anything less.
