My name is Rachel and I am currently in the Masters of Social Work program with the University of Iowa. I grew up in a rural community in west-central Iowa. I am the oldest sibling of three girls (two younger sisters are twins). I have diverse experiences working with children ranging from in-home babysitting, lifeguard/swim lesson instructor, daycare staff (infant to age 10), and a direct care staff at a residential treatment center for kids with aggressive and sexual behaviors. I love working with children because of their high energy, creativeness, and ability to learn and teach. Their smiles and laughter can make any day a great one.
