My first job was as a child care worker at an after school/summer daycare, which I worked at for 4 years. In addition to sitting for friends and family, I also was a long term nanny (6 years) for a family with two children (ages 1 and 4 when I started) . I have been CPR and First Aid trained. My certification has lapsed but I am willing to renew. I hold an Associate of Arts and am currently working toward a B.A. in Educational Studies with minors in English and Education and Training through BVU's online program. So, I'm a big fan of educational exposure and fun!
