I'm currently pursuing my masters degree in theology at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul. I grew up in Iowa with three brothers where I stayed busy with theatre and music. Growing up my mother always believed in what she called 'creative play'. She encouraged my siblings and I to explore the world around us through books and our own imaginations instead of the tv. As a result of this I love spending my time outdoors, reading, and creating new things. I love working with kids and learned during my year volunteering at a preschool in Chicago the importance of being both a playmate and an authority figure with kids.
