Even though I am the youngest in my family, I have spent many years helping with my niece. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I work with 3-6 and 7-12 year olds mostly. I grew up helping at camp with at risk kids, I am a success coach with those kids as well. As a success coach I work with kids who aren’t having the best of times. I help them understand why they are upset and how we can work through this to have a better days. I am verified in mental health awareness for children. Running around and having a huge amount of energy is what I expect and love to have fun!

I am a part-time teacher who lives in the Mid-West during the school year and WILL reside in southern California for the full summer (approximately mid June to early August - there is some flexibility there).. My experience includes many years of babysitting and nanny experience. in addition to 18 years of full-time middle school teaching. I do have a daily position M-F already lined up this summer in LA, but will be available some evenings and weekends here and there to provide care. Please see my availability. I have my own late-model vehicle, am CPR/First Aid certified, and am a mature, responsible professional with much experience with children of all ages - newborn through adolescence. In addition to teaching, I've worked as a leadership staff member at a summer camp in Maine for children ages 6-15 during two different summers. I've also been certified as a foster parent in California, have volunteered as a child placement coordinator with Royal Family Kids' Camps and can provide very strong character and professional references.

I have been a nanny for a family for about 3 to 4 years now. But they are no longer needing my services since the kiddo is growing up. I also have occasionally babysat for other families too. And I grew up watching my siblings and my family’s kids also. I love spending time with kids, doing crafts, puzzles, etc. I am very patient and enjoy building connections with kids. I love working with children because I get to be apart of helping them learn new things as well as helping them grow into new personalities they will have.
