Even though I am the youngest in my family, I have spent many years helping with my niece. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I work with 3-6 and 7-12 year olds mostly. I grew up helping at camp with at risk kids, I am a success coach with those kids as well. As a success coach I work with kids who aren’t having the best of times. I help them understand why they are upset and how we can work through this to have a better days. I am verified in mental health awareness for children. Running around and having a huge amount of energy is what I expect and love to have fun!

I have spent my entire life working with children as a teacher, a substitute teacher, a professional nanny, and a Casa I love what I do and I love working with children, and I never pick another profession. I do have a degree in elementary education and educational counseling also parallel degree. I’ve worked with 12 sets of twins, triplets, and quadruplets and have all of my certification I do not drink. I do not vape. I do not smoke. I do not do any drugs. I use to babysit my younger sister as well as her friends around the neighborhood from ages 5-8 I am CPR and First Aid certified, I was a lifeguard for about a year and a half. I have childcare experience in a formal daycare setting as well. My experience with kids there ranges from 1-5. I am a part-time teacher who lives in the Mid-West during the school year and WILL reside in southern California for the full summer (approximately mid June to early August - there is some flexibility there).. Hello, My name is Terra, I’ve been a daycare teacher since 2023 working with ages 3 months to 3 years old. I love working with children because I get to be apart of helping them learn new things as well as helping them grow into new personalities they will have. Working in daycares I got the opportunity to get certified via Iowa state courses, and I have my cpr/first aid training. I prefer working with children ages 2-5, but am willing to care for newborns-11. Because I work at a school district and am in school for social work, I am looking for families that need summer care. I am available approximately from June 1st-August 23rd. I love to take kids to parks or other free community activities.
