I have 30 years of experience working with kids of all ages! (15 years of that being my In-Home Daycare and my own kids, 9&19) Taking care of babies and kids is my passion and the only job I have ever truly LOVED!!! I am extremely passionate about my role in childrens lives and I am responsible, calm, patient, fun, sweet, caring, creative, crafty, encouraging, attentive, punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, and non-judgemental! I will treat your kid(s) with the same love and respect that I give my own. I dont smoke, drink or use drugs. I have a clean driving record and background (I not sure how to prove this 😄) and will provide references upon request! 😊 This year, I have decided to switch my focus from daycare to back-up and as-needed care. I do know CPR and First-Aid from my previous certifications, however, I am not currently certified. I Read more am able to help with light housework, food preparation and transportation as needed. This app only lets me say I am comfortable caring for four children but I am comfortable with however many you have! I can transport 4-5 kids in my vehicle depending on what carseats are needed and I carry full-coverage auto insurance! I absolutely LOVE going to the parks and library in town and for kids I care for more often, I may plan trips to other places like the Imaginarium or Phelps Youth Pavilion in Waterloo or The Falls in Cedar Falls. It depends on how many kids I am watching and how well they behave. I base the days activities on the ages and behavior of the kids and will always use my best judgement in each situation to make sure the kids are kept safe! I have worked with children with Autism, ADHD, seizures and colic. Please don't hesitate to ask for help from me due to any of these things! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I will most likely have my homeschooled 9-year-old daughter with me most days so please be ok with that. She is an extremely well behaved child and loves being a helper! I am comfortable with all kinds of pets and can help with them if needed. We also provide house/pet sitting services! I am excited to get started and look forward to hearing from you!!!
