My passion is kids. So much so, I decided never to leave elementary school. I am a full time elementary special education teacher in Urbandale and I'm looking for some jobs to keep me busy this summer. I have multiple years of summer nanny experience, and have been around children my whole life. Growing up my mother had an in-home daycare and I starting taking babysitting jobs around the age of 14. I feel like I have been in some sort of childcare my whole life. I have my bachelor's in Elementary Education with a special education endorsement. While in college working on my degree I worked for the West Des Moines Schools before and after school/summer care program, Kids West. I worked there for 3 years until I graduated from Grand View and started teaching in Urbandale. I am looking for some occasional jobs for this summer to make Read more some extra money.
