Hello! My name is Beth. I am from Australia and came to the U.S. to run cross country and track at Idaho State University. That was back in 2018 and I have since graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in nutrition and dietetics. I am now a registered dietitian and license in the state of Idaho. In the summers while I was pursuing my degree I worked as a swim instructor with children aged from 3 - 14 years. My favorite part was watching my students overcome their fears, gain confidence, and enjoy being in the water. It is a wonderful feeling to watch the students get excited for their swim lesson. I also spent a summer working as a counselor and mentor for a program for disadvantaged high school students preparing to attend university. I am now looking for a part-time, fulfilling position for the summer as I wait to start my career as a dietitian in August. In my free time, I love cooking, reading, gardening, and spending lots of time being active outdoors with my husband and our two dogs.
