I am the mom of now a 21 year old who had numerous Learning disabilities. I have the pleasure of raising him and learning how to be a patient caregiver. I also learned a lot about setting boundaries and positive correction. I also spend time watching my (step) grandkids on a weekly basis. I had for training about 10 yrs ago. I successfully used the Heimlich maneuver on my son when he was 1 and choking. ( thank you Dr. Heimlich!!) I have spent the last 5 years growing an organic snack business, while exciting & challenging, was so demanding that I didn't connect enough with what really mattered: friends, family, people. This is what I intend to focus on now.
