i have been babysitting since i was 13. I graduated from high school this year. I am not sure what i want to do yet, but I am thinking of becoming a nanny or caretaker. I have babysat every age from 7 months and up. I have some experience with special needs children. i can help to administer medication if needed. I am a certified cna and i am cpr certified. A typical babysitting job for me includes: I arrive and talk with parents about anything specific that needs to be taken care of, then after the parents leave I usually have the kids show me their rooms ( its a great way for me to get to know them and it gets them excited) , then i will ask them what they want to do, next I usually get them a snack or a meal, then ( if its Read more a night job) i ask them to go put on their pjs and help them if needed, (again for night jobs) on the parents preference I will ask them what movie they want to watch (this helps to wind them down) other wise i try to find a quiet activity to do like reading or a puzzle. After that I put them to bed. If its not a night job I usually have the kids take turns picking what to do. And in between each activity we go get a drink or a snack and take a small break. Thanks!
