I am currently a senior in college studying biology. I have spent the past year working with children with severe intellectual disabilities, both as a full-time job with a nonprofit and private caretaking. I have experience with children with various disabilities (not limited to severe autism, Down syndrome, Prader-Willie, PICA, Williams syndrome, Rett syndrome, Angleman syndrome, seizure disorders, and various rare genetic disorders). I am competent in non-verbal communication methods such as ASL and pec card systems. I am also NR-EMT certified and am comfortable caring for children with various medical needs.
