My name is Larissa, I am 27 years old and have lots of experience with kids of all ages. I began babysitting jobs when I was 12 years old (crazy?!) and throughout high school and college. I was a volunteer in the nursery and ages 1-3 years old during my high school years at church. I was a nanny for a family with mom and dad being stay at home authors, and I took care of their son (2) and daughter (6). I cooked, cleaned, organized and did everything mom would do when she was working at home. I stayed in their guest bedroom occasionally when they needed me for longer hours. In college I babysat for friends and family and whoever I knew with kids! I took care of infants up to probably about age 12. I consistently babysat for a family with three kids, ages 6, 8, and Read more 12 for a few years. I was a lifeguard in high school and have experience with kids and non-swimmers in a pool setting. I was a lifeguard for 2 years. I was a lifeguard for swimming lessons and assisted with swimming lessons for 3 months. I have been continually CPR/AED + First aid certified for 10 years and am currently certified in both. 3 years ago I worked for the Youth Department at the Caldwell Family YMCA as a Summer Day Camp Counselor and then as a Teacher's Assistant in the after school program. In each of those programs I worked with kids ages 6-11. I worked in these areas for 1 year and absolutely loved the kids and bonding with them. I changed departments within the Y to become a Certified Personal Trainer which I had done for 2 years prior to working with kids. The past 3 years I have worked as a Personal Trainer and at a restaurant. I am currently a caregiver for my 81 year old grandmother with dementia and have been doing that for over a year now. I'm excited to meet you and love on your kids!
