I have been babysitting for neighbors, friends, and family since I was in middle school. I also worked as a receptionist in a healthcare clinic for 2 years and provided childcare for patients while they received treatments. I enjoy working with young children and being engaged in their learning process. I have experience babysitting children between 1 and 10 years old. Some of my favorite activities while babysitting include making art projects, reading, or going outside to play with the children I care for. In addition to my childcare experience I am certified in Infant, Child, and Adult CPR and First Aid. I have also taken classes in lifespan development, nutrition, and chronic disease prevention and am committed to using this knowledge to keep the children I work with healthy. I also have volunteered over 100 hours with several services including Gym Kids, Now I Can, and the Utah State Read more Hospital which provide care for special needs children with developmental, physical, or mental problems. I have found working with these children to be especially fulfilling and am comfortable working with children with a variety of abilities.
