Hello awesome families, I am currently looking for evenings and weekend work, I have extensive experience with infants up to school age. I am a mother of six adult children and eight grandchildren. I currently work as a full time Nanny in the Gold Coast area, before that I did a nanny share in Logan Square. I've also worked as a Lead infant / toddler teacher in the West loop area I also work as a part-time Babysitter and have provided services for so many families throughout Chicago land. I have worked with children for 25 plus years Infants to School age. I have attended Harold Washington College and Malcolm X College and studied in Early child development including infant toddler care. I love working with children and been part of their lives and introducing them to new and fun experiences, I love reading to them and encouraging them to use their imaginations. I enjoy been outdoors enjoying nature and its sounds. I am Cpr and First aid certified in Infant, child, and adult and have all required immunizations to work with children of all ages. When I have free time, I like to visit museums and take long walks and take pictures, I enjoy arts and crafts activities, it's messy but fun. I enjoy providing a service for busy families who just needs a extra pair of hands around. I also worked in a preschool setting in which i provided age-appropriate activities for children as well as provide a safe learning environment. I also have 20plus years as a classroom teacher before becoming a full-time nanny in which i have work as for 7 years and counting.

My qualifications include but not limited to: - Supervise and get involve in children's activities indoors and outdoors, and attend with them to infant or toddler classes, story-hour at the local library, going to the park, playground, etc. - Cook age appropriate and healthy meals and snacks for the child, assist in feeding them while teaching table manners. - Provide a stimulating learning environment for the child's physical, social, emotional,and cognitive development and encourage social interaction organizing play dates - Help reinforce developmental transitions, such as sleep training, eating solid foods, potty training, etc. - Willing to follow a sleep and/or nap schedule and set a routine. - Able to perform light housework related to the child: laundry (clothes, bed liners, etc.), general tidying of child's room and play areas, cleaning up after child's meals. - Wash child's dishes and bottles and sterilize baby feeding supplies and toys. - Knowledge of the proper handling of breast milk (defrost, warm it up, and storage) and formula. - Comfortable giving medication (under parent's instructions) and doing cloth diapering. - Experience with babies with eczema problems and acid re-flux. I like to have a close relationship with the parents, so we can talk over your kids' needs and difficulties during their development and help them together, as a team. Hi my name is Kimilee, I am 29 years old. I live in Des Plaines and have two kids of my own who are 12 and 3. I have been working in the healthcare field for over 10 years and have been a babysitter for 3 years. I am a certified nurse assistant and have also been certified in CPR. I have a Law Enforcement/Animal Control Officer, a Medical/ Medical Computer Systems background and have also worked in the Corporate world. All of those jobs I really enjoyed. But I’m completely happy and comfortable in a private/domestic setting taking care of children and managing a household. I excel at ensuring that the household is running smoothly, and I like putting my excellent organizational skills to work. It is a very gratifying experience for me.
