I have always had a love for children and have been taking care of younger kids since I can remember. Starting back when I was 12, I've been babysitting neighbor kids or friends of the family ranging from newborns to 8-year-olds. I've lived in the same household as toddlers on two different occasions, and helped significantly with the child care. I babysat for a couple on Care. com for about 3 months until they moved. I helped take care of their 3 children, all under 5 years old. I am now attending school to become a medical assistant, but was previously taking classes towards a child care and criminal justice degree. I love taking care of children and watching them grow and explore new things. I strongly believe it is very important to keep children active and engaged in the activities they are doing.
