I currently attend Northern Michigan University. As this is my forth year at NMU, I am only taking a few classes this semester so I will have a flexible schedule for weekdays. I do play for NMU women's hockey team so weekends vary. On that note, I am very athletic and have grown up playing basketball, soccer, softball, and my all time favorite, ICE HOCKEY! I have a lot of experience working with children from 5 to 15 years old. In high school, I started off working for the Arlington Heights Park District in Illinois as a girls softball umpire. I later started working for an after school program(C.A.P. Activity Leader) at multiple elementary schools in the district from 2010- 2012. I unfortunately had to leave that behind because I graduated from high school and moved to Marquette. During the summers, I return to Illinois and work at Good Times Read more Summer Day Camp. I have worked here for 3 years now. At NMU, I study Outdoor Recreation and Leadership Management. Being involved with this major has taught me interpersonal skills, leadership of all ages, and structured guidance. I do plan to graduate and start an internship after Winter semester 2017. I have certifications of CPR for children and adults and also a Wilderness First Responder.
