My name is Kate and I am a 22 year old student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying English secondary education with an emphasis in Theatre approaching graduation in May of 2017! I have been babysitting for 10 years, and began full-time nannying at age 19. I spent 2 summers M-F, 7-5 with 2 girls under age 13, and then part-time nannyed summer 2016 for a 1.5 year old boy in a different city. All of my jobs have been child-centered. I have worked at LifeTime Fitness Child Care center, Urbana Park District after-school program, and babysat/nannyed/tutored for years! I am very organized, punctual, outgoing, and creative. I try to ensure that no 2 days look the same for the kids I nanny! In the past, I have created calendars with a rewards system for summer tutoring to keep math and reading skills up during the off-season from school.
