One long term goal I have a is to be a good role model for younger children on not giving up on your dreams. I feel as though kids should be given chances on becoming who they want to be. Growing up a young black woman in a low class home, things aren’t handed to you. You have to work for everything you want and need and I just want to show younger children that hard work pays off. Five years from now I see myself being a good grade school teacher and having a big impact on my students’ lives. I would like to be that teacher that my students will never forget. I plan to attend community college for 2 years to get my associates degree in Early Childhood Development. After that I will attend a 4 year university and I will be certified to teach children.
