I am an incoming senior in college and a biology/pre-medicine major. I am studying to become a pediatrician because children are my passion. I have babysat multiple families since I was 13. In high school, I was a dance instructor for children ages 2-12 and worked as an after-school program volunteer. Since starting college, I have volunteered and started a tutoring program at a nearby Elementary School and worked with children ages 5-12, including those with special needs. I have also volunteered in the pediatrics unit of a nearby hospital while away at college. When I care for children, my number one concern is their safety and well-being. However, I love to foster a child's creative and imaginative side with engaging and fun activities.
