The genuine enthusiasm, passion and joy a child displays is contagious. A child can express themselves in ways we adults have forgotten, view the world clearly and can play while doing so. This and more is why I have pursued a degree and career path that has allowed me to share in the special experiences a child endures. I love creating memories, facilitating activities both indoor and outdoors, arts and crafts, dramatic play, reading books, games, and so much more. I am open and flexible, always remembering that each child has their own special and individual personalities. I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri in Human Development and Family Sciences. My emphasis was in Child Life. I am a Certified Child Life Specialist and recently moved to the Michigan area to fulfill a role at Bronson Children’s Hospital. Growing up I quickly became the "neighborhood babysitter" Read more and loved every minute of it. Our neighborhood was made of mostly young children and was never short of fun. I have nannied for a number of different families, both full-time and part-time. I have worked with children of varying ages, developmental levels and disabilities. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I have also worked as a preschool aid/teacher, camp counselor, dance teacher and life guard. I look forward to connecting with future families!
