I am currently a junior at Concordia University-Wisconsin studying Early Childhood Education. In high school, I was a nanny over the summer for a family in my area with two children ages 3 and 7 years old. I also babysat for a family friend's daughter that was 1 year old at the time. This past year, I worked through the YMCA at a before-and-after school program in which I supervised the children that would come into school early in the morning while their parents had to be at work before school started. My job was to make sure that the kids were playing nicely with one another, and staying on task with homework and group activities.
