Hello! My name is Melissa, i currently just finished my first year in college. During my high school years, i took part in Child Development classes, and had the opportunity to work with children of ages 3-5. I was trusted to care, guide and help them learn different material. I also enrolled into a teaching internship class that my school offered. I was able to go to a surrounding grade school and intern with a teacher. I was very fortunate to work with over 50 children, being that i worked with a dual-language class. There, i was working with children of ages 5-7. I helped them learn basic math, spelling and punctuation. Assisted them with daily duties and also monitored behavior. i was also extremely fortunate to coordinate a 5 de Mayo performance with some of the chosen children and be at their performance.
