I became a caregiver because I love people and the family dynamic. Like many young women, I began babysitting as a teenager and that is when my love for childcare grew. In college, I majored in Human Development and Family Sciences. Once I graduated I had my first son and began my career as a preschool teacher. I have been a preschool teacher for 3 years now, and I have decided to take a small hiatus, since I gave birth to my youngest son 4 months ago. I will always be a teacher at heart but for now I think its best to work with children and their families on a more personal level as well as ease myself back into the workforce without the pressures of having to care for an entire classroom.
