I have babysat for a family with kids ages 3 months, 2 years old, 3 years old, 4 years old, 12 years old, and 13 years old. Babysitting them entailed changing the baby and 2 and 3-year-old's, as they were not potty-trained yet. Feeding all of the children. Making sure all of the kids were entertained until bed time by playing with them and watching movies. And lastly, putting them all to bed. Mid last year I was a full-time nanny for a few months for a family with two children ages 1 years old and 3 years old. For this family it was thoroughly important that the children be kept busy all day with fun and brain enhancing activities. Arts and crafts, puzzles, and trips to the library were just some of the activities I did with the kids. It was so much fun! For this family I also did things like preparing dinner, cleaning the house (bathrooms. kitchen, living areas), and doing laundry. I have fallen in love with being a babysitter/nanny because I feel as if children are one of the few wonders of the world. I enjoy teaching them things, helping them learn, and making sure they feel cared for and nurtured. I believe that what makes me good at my job is that i have such patience and compassion when working with children.
