Hello! My name is Michelle, I am 25 years old, and I recently moved to Hales Corners, WI from Buffalo Grove, IL. I received my associate's degree from the College of Lake County in Illinois while taking care of an 11- and 4-year-old sisters regularly. Kayla and Asha were the first girls I was paid to take care of, and I formed a great bond with both of them throughout the 2018-2019 school year. Then, in between employment, I worked with two families from January to September of 2025. I assisted a family in the mornings who has an 11-year-old with autism and a 13-year-old, and a family in the afternoons with three kids ages 4-10. In the mornings, I helped the kids get to school and then focused on errands and tasks around the house. I have also taught online English classes for the past four years, and during my senior year of high school, I was in Brazil through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. I received my bachelor’s degree in criminology and psychology from the University of Iowa in 2022. I am currently starting a new job as a Legal Assistant and completing online coursework for a graduate certificate in public policy. I have great communication and management skills, while being clean and friendly. I would love this opportunity to save money and, more importantly, to form a safe and nurturing bond with my employers and their child/children. I will also have my own car for transportation to school, sports, and other activities your child/children are involved in.
