Hi, I'm Grace and I am a senior at Northeastern Illinois University in my final semester (I'm majoring in English and Philosophy). Most recently (before COVID-19), I was a private tutor at a corporate academic prep center where I worked with middle school and high school students. Several years ago I was an assistant at a local Kumon center (grading, administrative, and teaching assistant duties) where I taught kids PreK - grade 8 (and a few early high school students). Back in high school, I also had volunteer experience watching groups of children (mainly ages 2-10) through teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School style programs (children ages 4-12), as well as the occasional weekend babysitting gig (toddlers, school-age children). My biggest strength as a babysitter is engaging with children on their level - it comes with being a child at heart!
